David and Goliath

This photograph is based off of the Caravaggio painting David & Goliath shown below:

I attempted to hold true to Caravaggio's style but I wanted to give my photograph a modern twist. I feel that my portrayal of David holding Goliath's head was successful based on what I was aiming for.
